Make a Difference

The MEF Inc is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) corporation and is registered with the State of New Jersey Charities Registration, Division of Consumer Affairs. We provide individuals and businesses with a consistent and accountable way to support the schools on a tax deductible basis.

Created in 1996, the MEF is an independent non-profit that raises funds to provide grants to Metuchen Public School Educators so they can enhance the curriculum with their innovative and special projects that are not otherwise provided for in the school budget. Each year, we also sponsor the 2nd Grade Play, the Edgar Middle School Science Fair, and provide college scholarships for Metuchen High School Seniors.
